School Street Consultation
Waltham Forest Council would like to find out your views on a proposal to introduce a trial School Street at The Jenny Hammond Primary School.
A School Street is an initiative to create safer streets for everyone by reducing traffic congestion and improving local air quality. School Streets involve temporarily closing one or more roads surrounding a school to most vehicles for a short period at the start and end of the school day.
A drop-in session will be held on Monday 3 February 2020 between 3:30pm and 7:00pm at The Jenny Hammond Primary School. The session will be a walk-in event, please use the school’s main entrance on Elsham Road.
To participate in this consultation, please read the information below and then complete the form at the bottom of this page before Sunday 16 February 2020. Please ensure you state clearly whether you are in support or not of the proposed School Street trial.
All feedback will be reviewed as part of the decision-making process. If a trial is agreed, we will notify residents of the consultation results and next steps in March 2020.
