11th October 2021
I would like to say thank you very much for your support in the changes we have had in Sequoia class this half term. It has been lovely beginning to get to know all your wonderful children and getting to meet some of you when you come to pick them up at the end of the day. As you know from this week,11th October, we will be having Becky teaching the class from Monday to Wednesday and I will continue to take the class on Thursdays and Fridays while Sakina is not in school.
I am pleased to let you know that I now have access to the Sequoia Class email and so will be able to keep in contact with you all more easily. I am in school all week and so can pass on any information to Becky on the days she is in class.
We will be able to begin Parent Consultations after half term to give Becky a little time to get to know the class. Parent Consultations are held on Tuesdays with three appointments of 15 minutes each per week. These can now be held over the phone, Zoom calls or face to face. Please let us know which format you would prefer when you make your appointments.
We will also be having a change around in the support staff working with Sequoia class and after half term we will have Bernie every morning and Faateemah for the whole day.
Just a quick reminder that we are really looking forward to seeing all of the children present their
Power Projects to the class this Thursday -14th October.
Thank you again for your support
This half term, Year 1 will be competing their first ever Power Project. Power Projects are a great way to link school leaning with home learning.
Below you will find your child's Power Project sheet for our School Days topic along with an explanation sheet all about Power Projects.
I hope you all have fun with this term's project. I am looking forward to seeing them already!
